Just a smart advice: Don’t venture into something that you have little or zero experience. I believe the problem is not with the freelancing sites you signed up with, but how you sell your skills as a freelancer. You are your own brand and you are competing on a global scale. To answer your question, being an internet marketing specialist pays more than data entry. If you’re freelancing online, you have competitors in developing nations who charge as little as 10 cents an hour. Can you compete on that? Try to offer specialized skills instead and don’t use generic cover letters. Good Luck!
